Skeleton body tattoos, 80's fashion, latex, club anthems! When there's this much fashion-crazed, maddened energy in one place, Lady Gaga is not far behind.
I'm talking about the House of Mulger Menswear show which took place yesterday in Paris unveiling the first collection with Gaga stylist, Nicola Formichetti (below) as creative director.
The much talked-about collection premiere is en tandem with the debut of a never-before-heard Gaga track off Born This Way, coming out this Spring! Umm, sidenote: I cannot WAIT. Total Gaga withdrawal.
The techno bass-heavy song is an ideal compliment to the 80's-inspired collection of strong-shouldered suits and outerwear. The message was extremity. Silhouettes were baggy and then, shockingly tight; colors were deep and dark and then, bright and bold.
The "flawed superhuman" theme of the collection, designed by Romain Kremer, materialized in neoprene, plastic, nylon and latex outerwear. And then there were head covers, masks and crowns. And we can't forget those much-talked-about skeleton tattoos on Canadian model Rick Genest.
Check out the dark fashion film, directed by Mariano Vivanco with music by Lada Gaga and snippets from Mugler's show below via Stylelist:
What do you think of the collection, film AND song? LOL. Are you excited for Lady Gaga's new album?
