When I saw that Curtis Jackson (aka 50 Cent) would be coming out with a new fragrance for men, I wasn't really surprised. Because that's just what you do if you're a celebrity. Duh.
But, I did find it to be so amazingly cute that Curtis was actually nervous while giving his speech before us beauty editors about his new fragrance. He did seem to be very involved in the process and stated that he was very excited about its launch. About the name?
"Confidence is misinterpreted as arrogance. But it's power; power empowers the person wearing it," he said. "You might be wearing the wrong shirt, but at least you smell good."

What: Power by 50 Scent
Developed by the fragrance house Firmenich "the scent evokes both the grittiness of 50 Cent's origins and the heady rush that accompanied his rise to power" (according to the press release anyways...I thought it was an extremely corny phrase because we didn't think of grit when taking a whiff for the first time) It does smell surprisingly very, very nice...like I could give this to a guy and not tell him the name of it and he would probably really wear it!!
The juice: A masculine scent with top notes of lemon leaves, black pepper and Artemisia, followed by a heart of dark woods, coriander and nutmeg with a drydown of patchouli, musk and oak moss
