The Hollywood Walk of Fame is the world's most famous sidewalk. It attracts about 10 million visitors annually.
As you walk down Hollywood Bl, you can see all the stars. More than 2,400 pink stars are embedded over a combined 1.7 miles. These sidewalk stars honor not only movie actors, but musicians, directors, radio, TV and stage performers, producers, fictional characters and other show-biz personalities as well.
Right below the name of each celebrity on the star, there is a small round emblem, which indicates the celebrity's category : classic film camera (represents motion pictures), television set (for broadcast television), phonograph record (representing audio recording), radio microphone (for broadcast radio) or comedy / tragedy masks (for theater / live performances).
